Nemanja Vidic has already signed a contract to join Serie A giants Inter in the summer, according to Italian broadcaster Rai.

The Serbian defender has opted to part ways with Manchester United following the expiry of his contract at the end of the current campaign, ending an association which has run since 2006.

Talk of a move to Inter, long-time Vidic fans, quickly surfaced and the 32-year-old is reported to have already ironed out a switch.

Vidic has penned a two-year contract with the Nerazzurri, which contains the option for a third year if both parties agree.

Under the terms of the agreement Vidic will earn €3.5m per year, plus various bonuses.

It is even claimed that the former Spartak Moscow defender has passed a medical with Inter, so advanced is his move to the club.

Vidic has so far made 15 appearances in the Premier League for Manchester United this season.
