David Moyes has put Manchester United's poor form down to bad luck and urged his side to continue pushing forward as he believes a change in fortune must surely come soon.

The Red Devils could only draw 2-2 against bottom club Fulham at Old Trafford at the weekend, with an injury-time goal proving their undoing.

It was a result which left Manchester United nine points behind fourth-placed Liverpool and unfolded despite Moyes' men registering a record number of crosses in a Premier League game, with 81 fired into the Fulham box.

Moyes believes his team cannot catch a break and is convinced that is a state of affairs which cannot continue for too much longer.

"You just continue doing the right things, we're doing the right things", Moyes said via his club's site.

"We just need to keep going because our luck will change, there's no doubt about that", he added.

Manchester United face the fearsome task of turning around their form away at Arsenal tomorrow evening (preview here), but Moyes is not going to send his side out with damage limitation on the agenda.

"We'll always try to get a good result against them.

"We got a good result against them at Old Trafford earlier on in the season [1-0, Ed.] and we'll try to do the same again."
