Borussia Dortmund coach Jurgen Klopp denies the injuries to Sven Bender and Marco Reus will devastate tonight's team, after vowing not to take relegation-threatened Eintracht Frankfurt lightly.

Dortmund face off against Frankfurt in the DFB-Pokal quarter-final after the double blow that came yesterday.

Klopp had already seen Jakub Blaszczykowski ruled out for the rest of the season, and the fresh news will do their Bundesliga efforts little benefit.

However, the Dortmund boss is keeping his spirits up, as they aim for at least one title this season given their failings in the league.

"We still have enough men in the squad to build a team," he was quoted by WAZ as saying.

"We have become used to dealing with [injuries], so it is not an emotional roller coaster."

Frankfurt, meanwhile, may have league matters of their own to stay focussed on after tonight – they lie in 12th place but just four points off the drop zone.

However, Klopp insists Dortmund will not let their guard down, adding: "The harmony they have shown in many phases of the preliminary round…

"They have played really good football, but get little result for it. Also in the Europa League they played a good role. They are an evolving process."
