Borussia Dortmund cannot be playing any better than what was on show in yesterday's DFB-Pokal quarter-final, a delighted Jurgen Klopp claimed.

Klopp's side only managed the one goal past Eintracht Frankfurt, but were dominant in most areas of the pitch at the Commerzbank Arena.

The cup progress will be pleasing for Dortmund, who are well off the pace in the league, as they now await the results from tonight's three matches.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang's header off a set-piece proved the difference yesterday, and Klopp later told the club website: "You cannot play better.

"Every misplaced pass [from Frankfurt], there was a feeding frenzy. Except for the first 20 minutes after half-time, I was super happy."

Sebastian Kehl, who provided the final assist for the goal, cut a more reserved figure after the game.

The club's league form had a bearing on their attitude, especially after the injury news earlier this week involving Sven Bender and Marco Reus.

"The tension was high and the pressure to win was great too," Kehl told WAZ. "Today we were good in many areas, we were very compact.

"We are a sinister weapon going forward, and already several teams have felt that."
