Inter Milan appear to have ramped up their Manchester United swoops with technical director Piero Ausilio eyeing Patrice Evra at last night's Arsenal clash.

Nemanja Vidic is believed to have already agreed a deal with Inter, after announcing he will leave Manchester United in the summer.

And the Nerazzurri, according to Sky Italia, have now begun close observations of Evra, another Reds defender whose future is in the balance.

Ausilio is understood to have been at the Emirates Stadium yesterday to not only give Vidic an extra look-in but also Evra.

Yesterday's goalless draw became a rare clean sheet for Manchester United, with Vidic in good form alongside Evra.

However, Inter will face some local competition for Evra, as he is also being followed by Juventus.
