Barcelona forward Alexis Sanchez believes that the Spanish giants can still win a treble of trophies this season, despite a shock 1-0 defeat at Real Valladolid on Saturday.

The loss saw the defending champions slip to third in La Liga, four points behind top-placed Real Madrid, but the Chilean international has explained the need to move on and focus on the second leg of the Champions League tie against Manchester City this Wednesday, as the Catalans will be looking to further increase their 2-0 lead at the Camp Nou.

“I think that on Saturday Valladolid were better than us. I don’t know what happened, but we need to move on”, the 25-year-old said via Marca.

“We can’t get hung up on this, we need to think about Wednesday, which is going to be a tough game.

“It’s just one game. We need to turn the page but I think we’re relaxed. We’re under pressure to win matches.

“We’re all Barcelona through and through, and pulling in the same direction. People are acting as if somebody had died.

“But the league changes. Madrid were nine points behind in the first half and people were saying we were champions. Now it’s Madrid. We’re going to try and win the three titles”, the player added.

Besides the Champions League and Spanish league, Barcelona are also in contention for the Spanish Cup after having made it to the final where they will take on Real Madrid on 16th April.
