Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard has described boss Brendan Rodgers as the best one-on-one man-manager he has ever worked with.
Rodgers was appointed Liverpool manager in 2012, succeeding the sacked Kenny Dalglish, and with a wafer thin CV saw his arrival widely questioned.

But this term the Northern Irishman has Liverpool sitting second in the Premier League and in the midst of a serious title challenge.
And Gerrard has now lavished praise on Rodgers' abilities, having worked with the former Swansea manager for nearly two full seasons.

"He has been a revelation", Gerrard was quoted as saying by the BBC.
"He keeps tinkering and tweaking formations, making little changes to personnel and pulls it off.
"You go out feeling full of confidence and belief. His one-on-one management is the best I've known."
The Liverpool skipper has also called upon the club's owners to move to extend Rodgers' contract, which expires in the summer of 2015.
"We are absolutely delighted he is here and I just hope there is a lot of movement as we speak because they have got to get him signed up as soon as possible."
