Paris Saint-Germain goalkeeper Salvatore Sirigu has dismissed Jose Mourinho's claim that the French giants start as favourites against his Chelsea side in the quarter-finals of the Champions League.

Mourinho's Chelsea thrashed Arsenal 6-0 at the weekend, but the Poruguese was quick to say that he feels PSG are favourites against his team in the Champions League.

PSG goalkeeper Sirigu believes Mourinho says nothing without thinking it through first and has waved away the former Real Madrid coach's words.

"When he says something it is premeditated", the Italian shot-stopper told RMC.

"No, I think we have the same chance to win as Chelsea.

"Realistically we are strong, but Chelsea are too. We'll try to come out as the winners.

"I hope it's 50-50 because that would mean that we are on the same level as Chelsea, which is not bad.

"But I think Chelsea are really strong. They are more experienced in Europe than us."
