Germany coach Joachim Low has congratulated Bayern Munich on winning the Bundesliga and has backed the club for Champions League success.

Pep Guardiola’s side beat Hertha Berlin 3-1 on Tuesday to lift their 24th German title with a record seven games to spare and Low believes that the team, who won the treble last year, can repeat their victorious run; they will take on Manchester United in the first leg of the Champions League quarter-finals on 1st April.

“I'm naturally happy for our national team players at Bayern – the title should give them a further boost. We have another greater goal together this year. Bayern have every chance of repeating their success of last season”, the 54-year-old added.

Low will be back on national duty this summer as the German side come together for the World Cup in Brazil, and the manager will be hoping that the players continue their winning form as the Eagles play Portugal to kick-start their campaign.
