Manchester United manager David Moyes has admitted he is thinking long and hard about the tactics he will employ against Bayern Munich on Wednesday evening.

Moyes' men drew the first leg of the Champions League quarter-final at Old Trafford 1-1, meaning they will need to score at the Allianz Arena to avoid heading out on away goals.

The Manchester United manager is now juggling a balancing act in terms of defence and attack, and is thinking about what his team should do.

"Tactics is something that I am looking at and thinking about", he said via his club's site.

"We played with a game-plan and I would think Pep [Guardiola] would need to alter his team slightly.

"Tactically, they will play the same type of game, maybe differently in terms of positions.

"For us, we have to make a decision, do we play differently? That is something I am mulling over at the minute."

Manchester United warmed up for the clash by beating Newcastle 4-0, while Bayern Munich went down 1-0 at Augsburg.
