Colombian international Adrian Ramos is happy to have been able to sign a four-year contract with Borussia Dortmund, his agent Helmuth Wennin has confirmed.

The player has been highly impressive for his present club Hertha Berlin this season, scoring 16 goals in 29 league matches and is currently placed third in Bundesliga scoring chart.

The signing, which will be completed at the end of this season, is being seen as an attempt on the part of Jurgen Klopp to bolster his attack ahead of losing striker Robert Lewandowski to Bayern Munich.

"Adrian is very happy because his dream has always been to play for a big club with great fans and one who are regulars in the Champions League", Wennin told Tutto Mercato.

"However, he will always be grateful to Hertha Berlin for what they have done for his career."

The 28-year-old's new team have almost ensured Champions League qualification for next year, being currently placed second with 58 points.

They also ended their present Champions League campaign on a high note yesterday after winning the quarter-final return leg at Westfalenstadion 2-0, but going down 3-2 on aggregate to Real Madrid.
