He has been involved in 13 league goals for Spurs, which is the most by any of their players this season, and hopes that his side can continue their winning momentum when they face West Bromwich Albion on Saturday.

"I’m just doing my thing. It could have been more, but still it’s pretty nice to have a 5-1 win at home”, the 22-year-old told Spurs TV.

"I’m just lucky to be able to deliver something for the team. We knew how much space we had, we just had to use it and luckily we did that later in the game.

"We knew we had to bounce back from last week [at Liverpool], we did that and hopefully we'll continue at West Brom.”

Eriksen, who joined the White Hart Lane club from Ajax in the summer of 2013, is happy with the way things have played out in England this far, and with nine goals to his name in 31 appearances, the player is looking forward to ending the season on a successful note.

"I knew it would be difficult from the beginning, it has been, everything is new and I’ve had to adapt to a lot of new things, a lot of new people. It’s been a fun time."
