Manchester United’s Juan Mata has stressed that the Red Devils will treat the remaining five games in the league as five finals and try to end a disappointing season strongly.

Manchester United have five games left in the season and Mata believes that they have to treat them as five finals and try to end the season on a high to give the supporters something to cheer about at the end of a disappointing campaign.

“So we have five finals to play in the league and we will try to win all of them to get as many points as possible”, the Spaniard wrote in his weekly blog.

Mata hasn’t played since Manchester United’s victory over Newcastle United on 5th April and is eagerly looking forward to the game against Everton this weekend; the Red Devils were not in action over last weekend.

“We have a good training week ahead to get ready for the Everton match.

“I feel very good and I really want to play again, as it's been a while since the last time I did. I'm looking forward to my next game.”

Mata was part of the Chelsea team that finished sixth in the league in the 2011/12 season, but they went on to win their first Champions League crown at the end of that season.
