There is little prospect of Javi Garcia swapping Manchester City for Inter this summer, the player's agent has explained.

The Spaniard has been linked with a switch to the Nerazzurri, but that is not on the agenda according to the player's agent Manuel Garcia Quillon.

Questioned about the link by Calcio Mercato, Garcia's representative replied: "There is absolutely nothing in it, no contact.

"Nobody has called me. Inter is not a possible hypothesis."

Garcia, who started life in Real Madrid's youth ranks, joined Manchester City in the summer of 2012 from Portuguese giants Benfica.

The defensive midfielder has won two caps for Spain's national team since making his international bow in 2012.
