Real Madrid forward Cristiano Ronaldo believes that if his team can score a goal against Bayern Munich at the Allianz Arena they will be on road to making it to the Champions League final in Lisbon.

Los Blancos managed to secure a vital home win against the Bavarians in the first leg of the semi-final in Madrid, sealing the match with a 1-0 scoreline on the night.

The win means that the defending champions will now have to put in that extra bit of effort to go through to the final on aggregate.

The 29-year-old, who has scored 28 goals in 27 league matches this season, believes that they could make it difficult for Pep Guardiola's team if they manage to score a goal in Munich.

"One-nil in the semi-final of the Champions League is good and we also played well", Ronaldo was quoted as saying by Spanish daily Marca.

"If we score a goal there it will make it very complicated for them to go through.

"So I think we will score and go on to the final."

The winner of the match will face either Chelsea or Atletico Madrid in the final in Ronaldo's home country on 24th May.
