Inter Milan have made Real Madrid’s Alvaro Morata a top transfer priority for this summer, according to Sky Italia.

Morata spent the early part of his career with Atletico Madrid and Getafe’s youth set-up before joining the Real Madrid youth academy in 2008.

The 21-year-old has progressed rapidly through the ranks at Real Madrid before making his first team debut in 2010, when he was brought on as a substitute for Angel di Maria in the 88th minute of a 3–1 La Liga win over Real Zaragoza.

Inter’s sporting director Piero Ausilio was in Madrid to watch the Champions League semi-final last night and was aiming to meet Morata's representatives.

Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti is not inclined to sell the young striker and Los Blancos have maintained their position that Morata is not for sale.

Morata has made 28 appearances for Real Madrid in all competitions this season, scoring seven goals and providing two assists for Los Merengues.
