Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti has urged his side to forget about the game against Bayern Munich and focus on their league clash against Osasuna on Saturday.

The Whites won the opener of their Champions League semi-final against the Bundesliga champions 1-0, and will travel to Germany for the return-leg at the Allianz Arena on Tuesday in the hope of capitalising on their one-goal lead and moving a step closer to the final in Lisbon.

But, currently third in the league table, the Santiago Bernabeu outfit are six points behind leaders Atletico Madrid and two points adrift of second placed Barcelona with a game in hand over the two. And the Italian manager insists his team have to concentrate on their home game against Osasuna tomorrow, if they want to contend for the Spanish title.

“We are trying to get our energy back. We have to focus because we are in the fight for La Liga. The goal is to win every game until the end and tomorrow is one of them”, Ancelotti was quoted as saying by the club’s official site.

“It's not easy because we exerted a lot of energy against Bayern, but now we're trying to recover it.

“I'm not thinking about Tuesday. We have a very important match against Osasuna and we have to try and win tomorrow. It's very important for the league”, the 54-year-old added.

Real Madrid are chasing a historic treble this season after having already won the Copa del Rey by beating rivals Barcelona 2-1 in the final.
