Everton boss Roberto Martinez feels David Moyes will see a quick return to management after he was relieved of his duties at the helm of Manchester United on Tuesday.

The Scottish manager was sacked by the Red Devils after a disastrous 10-month reign that saw the defending champions slip to seventh in the Premier League and struggling for a place in the Europa League next year.

A 2-0 defeat against former club Everton, where he spent 11 years at the top, spelt the end for Moyes, tarnishing his reputation, but Martinez, the Merseyside club’s new man-in-charge, feels his predecessor will not be short of new job offers.

“I am sure he will be ready to get into another job and I am sure he won't have a lack of offers”, the Spanish manager was quoted as saying by the BBC.

“He will always be well thought of and we will always be thankful of the job he did at our football club.

“We know David Moyes will look forward to the next footballing chapter and next experience", the 40-year-old continued.

“We all know he is a very successful man and has a real strong winning mentality and he will get ready to bounce back straight away.”

Moyes was replaced by club legend Ryan Giggs, who has been appointed interim manager until a permanent replacement is found, and will boss his first game on Saturday against Norwich City.
