Tim Sherwood has stated that facing Stoke City on their home turf is always a tough task and believes that Tottenham Hotspur’s win against the Potters in December last year is irrelevant at this stage of the season.

Tottenham registered a comfortable 3-0 win over Stoke at White Hart Lane, with goals from Roberto Soldado, Mousa Dembele and Aaron Lennon

"It’s always tough at Stoke. They've picked up of late and will be a different proposition to the team we played earlier this season”, the Englishman said via his club’s feed.

The 45-year-old believes that a trip to Stoke is always a tough proposition for any team and many big teams have come undone at the Britannia Stadium.
