Interim Manchester United manager Ryan Giggs has revealed the hardest part of his job in preparation for today's game against Norwich City was picking the team.

Giggs left Juan Mata on the bench at Old Trafford, bringing the Spaniard on in the second half, while young sensation Adnan Januzaj did not even make the matchday squad.

Manchester United ran out comfortable 4-0 winners, Mata scoring two goals after being brought on.

And Giggs revealed that making the call when it came to picking the team was his most difficult task.

"I didn't sleep last night", he told Sky Sports.

"Leaving the likes of Juan Mata out of the starting eleven was difficult and a position I've never been in before.

"I'm also one of their team-mates. I told them all individually before the game and some of them were upset, but they didn't sulk.

"You saw the reaction of Juan, he's a true pro", Giggs added.
