Ajax director of football Marc Overmars can see shades of the legendary Sir Alex Ferguson in the club's current coach Frank de Boer.
De Boer led Ajax to their fourth consecutive Eredivisie title today, also his fourth as the club's coach.
He has been continually linked with leaving the Amsterdam ArenA for elsewhere, with Barcelona and Tottenham Hotspur the two latest links for the Dutch tactician.
But Overmars is not worried and feels De Boer could go on to rival Ferguson for longevity.

"De Boer leaving? I don't know", Overmars told FOX Sports.
"It may be [the case], but maybe not. But his influence at Ajax is enormous. I compare him a little bit with Ferguson."
Ajax sit top of the Eredivisie with an unassailable four-point lead over second-placed Feyenoord with just one game to play.
