Manchester City right-back Pablo Zabaleta has revealed that his team are "still very hungry for the title" and will fight until the end to get their hands on the Premier League trophy.

The 2011/12 Premier League champions were back fighting for the title after Jose Mourinho's Chelsea dealt a body blow to league leaders Liverpool's chances with a 2-0 win at Anfield.

The situation as it stands now leaves a three point gap between the top three, with the Sky Blues having three matches and Liverpool and Chelsea having two matches still to play.

"We know that we've been in this situation two years ago and I think we had been talking about that last week", the 29-year-old was quoted as saying by ITV.

"All the staff, are still working really hard and are still very hungry for the title."
