Borussia Dortmund sporting director Michael Zorc is confident of the club seeing off interest in Marco Reus this summer on account of him being a "Dortmunder boy".

Reus has been linked with Barcelona, Manchester United and Real Madrid, with Dortmund fully aware that the Germany international is hot property.

Although Reus has a contract with the Ruhr giants which runs until the summer of 2017, it does contain a clause which will allow him to leave in 2015 for €35m.

But Zorc is not concerned about losing Reus either this summer or next summer, believing that the attacking midfielder is happy where he is.

"There are a lot of players at our club who are interesting for a lot of other clubs", he told German daily WAZ.

"We live with that continuously.

"If someone plays football as well as we do it is obvious that people register it.

"Marco is a Dortmunder boy.

"He likes it here because if he didn't he wouldn't be able to perform like this", Zorc concluded.
