Juventus defender Giorgio Chiellini feels that Juventus were the more deserving team to go through to the Europa League final.

Benfica played out a 0-0 draw against in the second leg of their Europa League semi-final against Juventus at the Juventus Stadium and went through to the final on the back of the 2-1 win against the Bianconeri at home last week.

“It's a pity because we think we deserved to qualify over the 180 minutes, unfortunately we did not manage that but I think only small details, or a single event, decided the whole tie”, the Italian defender told UEFA’s official site.

The 29-year-old did congratulate Benfica for their win, but believes over the 180 minutes of football the Bianconeri were the better side and feels a few small mistakes has cost them a place in the final.
