Out-of-favour Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Sandro is counting on the departure of manager Tim Sherwood to revitalise his career at White Hart Lane.

Sandro has slipped out of favour under Sherwood, with the Englishman preferring other options in the centre of the park, much to the 25-year-old's frustration.

However, with Sherwood mooted as having been lined up for the chop in the summer, Sandro feels his fortunes could change.

"He will leave at the end of the season", Sandro told ESPN Brasil.

"Then, new coach, new everything", he added.

The Brazilian midfielder left Internacional in his homeland to join Spurs in 2010.

His powerful displays in the engine room soon endeared him to the club's faithful and led to consistent interest from other clubs, notably from Italy's Serie A.
