Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Paulinho insists he has no problem with his position at White Hart Lane and was happy under previous manager Tim Sherwood.

Paulinho was in and out of the Spurs side over the course of the season, something which has led to suggestions he could move across London to Chelsea, though Sherwood often selected him.

But the former Corinthians midfielder is not pushing to leave and says he had no problem under Sherwood, who was sacked at the end of the season, Mauricio Pochettino having become the new manager at White Hart Lane.

"I have had a period sitting on the bench, but that was no problem for me", Paulinho explained to reporters when asked about his situation at Tottenham.

"I experienced that once before at Corinthians.

"Then a new coach came in and I kept playing. With Tim Sherwood, I had no problem, I played three or four games in a row after my injury.

"Then I sat on the bench, but the last six games I played again. So I don't feel like I had a problem", the Brazilian concluded.
