Borussia Dortmund have confirmed the signing of Ciro Immobile from Torino for an undisclosed fee.

The striker, who will be joining the Bundesliga outfit on 1st July, put pen to paper on a five-year deal which will keep him at the Westfalenstadion until 2019.

The 24-year-old finished Serie A’s top scorer in the 2013/14 campaign with 22 strikes and helped his side to finish seventh in the league standings.

And BVB sporting director Michael Zorc is delighted with the capture of Immobile, whose fine outings prompted Italy manager Cesare Prandelli to include the dynamic forward in his 23-man World Cup squad.
