Manchester United Under-21 manager Warren Joyce believes Tom Lawrence and James Wilson are the only the tip of the young talent iceberg that the club possesses.

Wilson and Lawrence made their first debuts for Manchester United against Hull City last month and the former also scored a brace to mark the occasion.

However, Joyce feels Lawrence and Wilson are not the only talented youngsters that Red Devils have in their reserves.

"I'm obviously pleased for the boys [Wilson and Lawrence]," Joyce told MUTV.

"And they have given a good account of themselves. But there are several other players as well and I actually feel sorry for some of the ones to have missed out.”

Joyce is particularly excited about Jesse Lingard, who spent time on loan at Birmingham City and Brighton this season and believes that the youngster has all the goods required to become a first team footballer at Old Trafford.

"I think both Jesse and Michael [Keane] have done really well out on loan. Jesse is a very clever footballer who does a lot of the right things. I am sure he can play in the Premier League. I feel for players like that as I want them to do well.”

"I look at players at other clubs and don't think they're necessarily as good as people like Jesse and Michael. It's about being fortunate enough to get a chance and then grabbing it with both hands."
