Napoli are stepping up their interest in Tottenham Hotspur’s Brazilian midfielder Sandro and are willing to make their Swiss midfielder Blerim Dzemaili part of the deal.

Napoli are waiting for Javier Mascherano to make a decision about his future at Barcelona, but are also ramping up their interest in signing Sandro.

The club from Naples have offered €10m for the 25-year-old, however Tottenham want double that amount to part with the midfielder.

Napoli are not willing to part with that amount of cash but are ready to add Swiss midfielder Dzemaili as part of the deal to bring Sandro to Naples this summer, according to southern Italian daily Il Mattino.

It is believed that Napoli officials are already in London to negotiate a deal with Sandro. However, Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy is known for his hard bargaining tactics and he will try to extract the maximum value from the deal if he decides sell the Brazilian.

Sandro made 26 appearances for Tottenham this season and only scored a solitary goal.
