Newcastle United defender Davide Santon has revealed that AC Milan and Roma are chasing his signature.

Santon has been consistently linked with a return to his homeland over the last year and now, with the summer transfer window drawing closer, suitors are moving into position.

Even so, the former Inter youngster does not know whether Newcastle will sell him.

"There has been interest from Milan and Roma, but with Newcastle I have two more years on my contract and I don't know if they'll let me go", Santon told Sky Italia.

"I must say that I feel good at Newcastle, they made me feel at home when I arrived and I like the English league."

However, Santon feels Roma and Milan are both powerhouses of the Italian game, adding to their attractiveness.

"Roma and Milan are two major teams. The Giallorossi have been shown to have a strong team who will be able to fight for the Scudetto next year.

"AC Milan had some little problems this year and changed coaches. [Massimiliano] Allegri first, then [Clarence] Seedorf and [Filippo] Inzaghi now, so things are still not secure."
