Memphis Depay has the "body of a true athlete" and the drive to succeed, believes the winger's PSV Eindhoven team-mate Stijn Schaars, as the hype surrounding the Manchester United-linked youngster continues to grow.

The 20-year-old has been included in Holland's World Cup squad and may even link up with national team coach Louis van Gaal after the tournament at Old Trafford, when he takes charge.

PSV have denied receiving any bid from the Red Devils for Depay yet, but the chatter is growing and Schaars is another fully signed-up member of the Depay fan club.

"He is doing everything to reach the top. And as a consequence he's made such great strides in recent years", the PSV midfielder told Helden Online.
