Inter are preparing to provide competition to Napoli for Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Sandro.
The Brazilian is wanted by Napoli, who have already seen an initial bid rebuffed by Tottenham as insufficient. However, Napoli remain confident of signing Sandro, even though there is some distance between their offer and Spurs' demands.
Now though Napoli have company in the race to sign the midfielder after Inter opted to join the bidding, according to Sky Italia.
The Nerazzurri have decided that Sandro represents the perfect midfield addition and are preparing to launch their own assault to sign the former Internacional man.
Sandro joined Tottenham in 2010 from Brazilian outfit Internacional and quickly became a fan-favourite due to his all-action performances.

The midfielder has been consistently linked with a switch to Serie A however, as clubs from Italy are firm admirers of his talents.
The 25-year-old has made 17 appearances for Brazil at international level.
