Liverpool are preparing a bid of around €20m to tempt Bayern Munich into selling Switzerland winger Xherdan Shaqiri.

The Reds are interested in taking Shaqiri to Anfield this summer as they seek to bolster their squad in advance of Champions League football in the new season.




Shaqiri has expressed his unhappiness at his current situation at Bayern Munich, with coach Pep Guardiola repeatedly preferring other options for the club's biggest games.

The winger, who has been keen to not publicly push for a departure, has nevertheless warned he is not prepared to repeat the experience for another season.

 


And Liverpool are spying snatching him away, having opened talks with Bayern Munich.
