Former Liverpool attacking midfielder Dani Pacheco is hesitating over his next move, with Real Betis having made an offer, but Espanyol yet to firm up their interest.

Pacheco is looking to move to a bigger club following spending last term with Segunda Division outfit Alcorcon.

Betis have already made the 23-year-old an offer and want him to become their first signing of the summer, as they bid to quickly bounce back from relegation from La Liga.

However, according to Spanish daily Marca, Pacheco's agents are waiting for Espanyol to firm up their interest with an official offer for the player, something which would see him play La Liga football.

Pacheco is thought to prefer a move to Espanyol, having spent four years at Barcelona prior to moving to Liverpool in 2007.
