New Galatasaray coach Cesare Prandelli has included Sunderland midfielder Emanuele Giaccherini in a shortlist of potential summer signings.

Prandelli led Italy to this summer's World Cup, but quickly stepped down following their group stage exit and succeeded Roberto Mancini as Galatasaray boss.

And the Italian is wasting no time in asking the Turkish giants to sign a raft of players as he looks to build a side to challenge for next season's Super Lig title.

According to Italian daily Tuttosport, Giaccherini is one of the players Prandelli would like at the Turk Telekom Arena, but it remains to be seen whether Sunderland will be willing to sell the former Juventus winger.

Prandelli is also a firm fan of Juventus forward Sebastian Giovinco.

And further names on the coach's list include Southampton striker Pablo Osvaldo, Napoli forward Eduardo Vargas and Parma defender Gabriel Paletta.

Galatasaray have already lost one big name this summer, with the departure of Didier Drogba.
