Marseille winger-cum-forward Andre Ayew is dreaming of a move to Liverpool, but the Reds have so far not moved to snap him up.

The Ghana international is looking to leave the Stade Velodrome this summer and Liverpool are his preferred club to join, according to French sports daily L'Equipe.

Ayew has attracted concrete interest from both AC Milan and Napoli, but the Italian duo have been put off by his wages; the 24-year-old currently earns €300,000 gross per month at Marseille.

Last summer Ayew rejected a proposal from Newcastle, holding out to see what other offers would come his way.

Ayew has just one year remaining on his contract with Marseille, but has not publicly pushed for a move in order to avoid turning fan opinion against him.
