Championship side Cardiff City have made no offers to sign West Ham United midfielder Ravel Morrison, manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has revealed.

The controversial midfielder has been linked with a move out of Upton Park, with the Bluebirds being seen as one of his possible suitors.

Solskjaer, who had been on the coaching staff at Old Trafford, knows Morrison well from his days at the club.

The Norwegian brought in a number of former Manchester United players last year and Morrison was viewed as another potential addition at the Cardiff City Stadium. But Solskjaer has claimed he has not made a move for the midfielder.

"I can't speak about other clubs' players and Rav is a West Ham player", Solskjaer was quoted as saying by ITV.

"But we've not made any offers whatsoever."

Morrison spent the second half of last season on loan at Queens Park Rangers, managing a total of 17 appearances and scoring six goals.

The England Under-21 international meanwhile, is set to appear at Manchester Crown Court on 28th August after being charged with two accounts of common assault.
