Bayern Munich winger Xherdan Shaqiri is expecting to still be at the Allianz Arena by the time the transfer window slams shut, but has left the door slightly open for a change of scenery.

The Switzerland international, who scored a hat-trick at the World Cup this summer, has been linked with a number of clubs throughout the current window, including Liverpool, Juventus and Monaco.

Bayern Munich have maintained they want to keep hold of Shaqiri however, but the winger did express his disappointment last term when overlooked for key games by the club's coach Pep Guardiola.

"I think I will be at Bayern Munich", Shaqiri told German daily Bild, when asked where he will be for the 2014/15 campaign.

"But as long as the transfer window is open, you never know what can happen", the former FC Basel star added.
