Trabzonspor president Ibrahim Haciosmanoglu is confident that the club will sign Kolo Toure from Liverpool, explaining the Ivorian has agreed to the move.

Toure has been linked with an exit from Anfield throughout the summer, with Trabzonspor at the front of the queue to capture the former Arsenal and Manchester City defender.

And with Liverpool having drafted in Dejan Lovren from Southampton, Toure's chances of regular first team football on Merseyside have receded.

Trabzonspor are poised to take advantage and Haciosmanoglu is sure they will get their man.

Speaking to Turkish daily Hurriyet, Haciosmanoglu said: "We have agreed with him.

"He will come."

The 33-year-old linked up with Liverpool last summer after leaving Manchester City.

Toure came close to helping Liverpool claim their first top flight title since 1990 last season, but the Reds missed out by a whisker to Manchester City.
