Ajax are still waiting for Samuel Eto’o’s answer as the former Barcelona man deliberates on his future.
The Cameroonian’s agent, Claudio Vigorelli, confirmed earlier this week that his client is in talks with the Dutch outfit, and Eto'o was present at Ajax's Eredivisie clash against Vitesse at the weekend.
Eto’o is a free agent after he left Chelsea last month and despite being 33, the Cameroonian international is still a big draw in the transfer market.
The likes of Juventus, Roma, Napoli, West Ham and Everton have all been linked with a move for the former Inter Milan striker this summer.
Ajax joined the race to sign him recently, but are still waiting for an answer from the forward’s representatives.

Vigorelli has confirmed that Eto’o is considering the Dutch champions’ offer, but said a decision is yet to be made.
"He has the offer under consideration. Samuel will soon make a decision", Vigorelli told Telesport.
Eto’o has made more than 500 appearances in European club football and scored 269 goals for six different clubs.
