Paris Saint-Germain coach Laurent Blanc has admitted that forward Ezequiel Lavezzi can leave the club this month if he wishes to do so.

Lavezzi has been strongly linked with Liverpool in recent weeks, while Italian champions Juventus have also been mooted as interested in taking the Argentine back to Serie A, where he turned out for Napoli before heading to the French capital.

Blanc insists he is not pushing Lavezzi out of the door though and would be happy to keep him at the Parc des Princes.

"Only if he wants [to leave], of course. I have no problem with Ezequiel staying", Blanc told a press conference.

"We are not going to stop him [going] if a good club comes forward. I have a strong and talented team and in all the positions we have two options.

"If the squad remains intact, I am satisfied. But the transfer period lasts for almost three more weeks, so more could happen, with Ezequiel too."

Lavezzi, who joined PSG in 2012 from Napoli, still has a further two years to run on his contract in the French capital.

However, PSG have been ordered not to increase their €237m wage bill by UEFA as part of the organisation's financial fair play rules and Lavezzi could be sacrificed as a result.
