Sergio Aguero has penned a new five-year contract with Manchester City, keeping him at the Premier League champions until 2019.

Manchester City have been tying down their key players to new contracts this summer and Aguero is the latest player to put pen to paper.

Samir Nasri, Aleksandar Kolarov, Vincent Kompany and David Silva have all committed to the Citizens and now Aguero has followed suit.

The 26-year-old joined Manchester City in 2011 from Spanish side Atletico Madrid.

He has picked up two Premier League titles during his stay at the Etihad Stadium so far, along with the League Cup and the Community Shield.

The Argentina international has made a total of 122 appearances for Manchester City in all competitions, hitting the back of the net an impressive 75 times.

Aguero putting pen to paper and extending his contract with the Citizens delivers the club a boost on the eve of the new Premier League campaign.
