Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers admits he is aiming to add another one or two players to his squad before the closure of the transfer window this summer.

Rodgers has already added seven players to the ranks at Anfield, though striker Divock Origi will spend next term on loan at French side Lille.

Another player is expected to come through the door at Anfield in the form of left-back Alberto Moreno from Sevilla, with the Liverpool boss admitting the deal is all but done.

"[We’re] nearly done", Rodgers told a press conference today.

"A few more things to complete, but more than that we needed to develop the squad this year.
