Brighton boss Sami Hyypia has saluted his side's 2-0 victory at Elland Road against Leeds United tonight and feels his team dominated the match against the Whites.

Leeds went into the Championship clash on the back of a 1-0 weekend win at Elland Road over Middlesbrough and manager David Hockaday was confident of clocking up another victory, this time against the Seagulls.

But Hyypia's side, who had lost their opening two Championship matches, looked slick throughout and took the lead through Joao Teixeira in the 5th minute, the Portuguese, who is on loan from Liverpool, slotting home.

And then Kazenga Lua Lua struck with just six minutes remaining in the match to double Brighton's lead and make sure of the three points.

Hyypia was delighted, having seen his side dominate possession and shots at goal.
