Ronny Deila has stressed that Celtic need to maintain their balance and composure against NK Maribor tomorrow.

The Scottish champions will welcome the Slovenian champions tomorrow to Celtic Park for the second leg of their Champions League playoff tie. The first leg ended in a 1-1 draw.

The Norwegian tactician stressed that Celtic need to learn from the mistakes of the first leg and improve their performance at home.

“We have to learn from every game”, Deila said via his club’s official feed.

“We can do things better from Slovenia as well. But we have prepared well."

Deila insisted that the Hoops need to start well tomorrow to get the crowd behind them at Celtic Park, but also need to maintain their composure throughout the game.

“It’s important to start well and get the crowd with you, but you have to be clever and be tactically well and have good balance."

The 39-year-old believes that it would be a dream come true if the club can qualify for the group stage of Europe’s premier competition.

“It would be a dream to play in the Champions League.

“The [Champions League is the] highest level in football. [Playing in the competition] would be like Christmas and everything at same time."
