Liverpool midfielder Jordan Henderson is hoping that Mario Balotelli’s arrival at the club will give a huge lift to the Reds squad.
The Italian international completed his £16m switch from AC Milan to Liverpool yesterday and watched from the stands as his new club suffered a 3-1 defeat at the hands of his former club Manchester City at the Etihad.
Henderson has revealed that the squad are excited about playing alongside the talented former Milan striker.
"I think everyone is happy and looking forward to playing with him because he is a talented player and a very big player", the Englishman told the club’s official site.
The 24-year-old is hoping that Balotelli’s arrival at the club will give a huge lift to the rest of the Liverpool squad.

"Hopefully he can come into the squad and gel straight away and give us a big lift."
During his previous stint in England at Manchester City, the Italian striker scored 30 goals in 80 appearances for the club.
He has also scored 13 goals in 33 international appearances for Italy.
