New Manchester United signing Daley Blind has said that he is excited to work with Louis van Gaal again at Old Trafford.
The Red Devils announced the signing of the full-back from the Dutch champions Ajax last night.
"It is a real honour to sign for Manchester United”, the 24-year-old told the club’s official site.
The Dutch footballer of the Year stressed that Ajax will always have a special place in his heart however.
"I have been at Ajax since I was seven years old and I will always have very fond memories of the club and of my time there.”

Blind played under the former Ajax manager for the Netherlands and the defender is excited to reunite with Van Gaal at Manchester United.
"Louis van Gaal is a tremendously talented coach, I have worked with him at Ajax and also for the Netherlands national team and I cannot wait to work with him at the biggest club in the world."
Blind becomes the sixth summer signing for Manchester United and was followed through the Old Trafford entrance by Radamel Falcao.
