Borussia Dortmund skipper Mats Hummels has admitted that his side are not where they desire to be, following a 2-1 loss against fierce rivals Schalke on Saturday.

BVB, who have now picked up just a solitary point from their last three Bundesliga outings, have slipped down to 12th in the standings with just seven points from six games, seven adrift of leaders Bayern Munich.

Prior to the setback suffered against their fierce rivals Schalke, Jurgen Klopp’s side lost 2-0 to Mainz last weekend before salvaging a 2-2 draw against Stuttgart in midweek.

And Hummels, who acknowledged his side endured a difficult week, urged the Signal Iduna Park outfit to return to winning ways in their upcoming Champions League game against Anderlecht on Wednesday.

“We have simply endured eight bad days and the comeback trail starts on Wednesday in Anderlecht”, the defender explained to his club’s official site.
