Borussia Dortmund coach Jurgen Klopp was pleased to see his side boss the game in last night's Champions League encounter with Anderlecht, which they won 3-0 in Belgium.

Klopp saw his team take the lead after just three minutes in the Champions League fixture when Ciro Immobile hit the back of the net.

Dortmund bossed the game, but saw chances go begging and had to wait until the second half and Adrian Ramos to put the game out of reach, the striker bagging in the 69th and 79th minutes.

And all in all Klopp was pleased.

"For us, it was perfect. The game started perfectly with an early goal. Then we had control – not 100%, but I would say 80%, with better chances and big chances. We missed them unfortunately, but in the second half, in a moment when we had to work really hard for a result, we got the next two goals and the game was over", he told UEFA.

"[Bringing on Ramos] was a good idea! We thought about starting Adrian but this morning my assistant coach said: 'Come on, let's start Ciro.' It looked a good idea after three minutes, and after that I told Adrian it would be really cool if he could close the game out for us and that is what he did.

"We can enjoy the moment."

The other game in Dortmund's group saw Arsenal thrash Galatasaray 4-1 at the Emirates Stadium.
