Tottenham Hotspur are set to significantly increase Christian Eriksen's salary at White Hart Lane to tie him down to a new contract.

Spurs have been delighted with Eriksen's impact since he arrived at the club from Dutch champions Ajax in 2013 and have made the Dane central to their efforts to get back into the Premier League's top four.

According to Danish daily BT, Eriksen is now in line for a deal to recognise his progress at White Hart Lane.

Eriksen will see his salary significantly increased, while Spurs will also increase a release clause in the midfielder's contract.
